Marketing Data Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics team in our London office. Although an established global business, our UK team was created two and a half years ago. As a result, we still retain a “start-up feel” where everyone has the opportunity to make an impact and have their ideas heard.

The day-to-day responsibilities will focus on delivering marketing analysis to a range of clients across retail e-commerce, travel and media; analysing customer journeys and attribution modelling using Google Analytics data, with the outcome of understanding media effectiveness and providing insight-driven recommendations for channel optimisation. You will also work on wider web analytics pieces, analysing user engagement and site performance.

On some projects you will work alongside our internal client teams, delivering work as a group through monthly or quarterly client meetings. However, you will have the opportunity to manage your own projects and have responsibility for delivering services directly to the client, so there is great exposure and opportunity to develop your client management skills.

Key Outcomes

  • Analytics services are delivered in line with client objectives and expectations
  • Clients view DQ&A as trusted advisers
  • Work with other teams to deliver an integrated client experience
  • Develop client accounts through spotting opportunities to increase analysis maturity
  • Act as an expert adviser across the wider business for marketing analysis

About You

We are looking for a teammate who is curious, takes initiative, and loves to learn new skills; someone who is driven and isn’t afraid of throwing themselves head-first into new and exciting tasks.

You will have:

  • Experience of running analysis attribution modelling and web behaviour data
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering insights and data-driven recommendations
  • Proficiency with SQL and working in SQL level database
  • Understanding of digital marketing landscape
  • Ability to build and run data models for instance RFM
  • Desirable experience of working in BigQuery
